Winter wedding photography can be challenging. Trying to capture all the twinkly, cosy and low light ambience is tricky but its a challenge I love and I am most definitely a wedding photographer who makes room in the diary for Winter Weddings, especially when they are at one of my favourite venues Trinity Buoy Wharf.
I have shot at Trinity Buoy Wharf 7-8 times. Summer weddings, winter weddings, good weather and not so good weather BUT I have loved it every time! Such a cool and industrial party space and the creative opportunities are endless, the perfect venue for my photography style and approach.
Here are my fifty-ish favourite wedding images from Hannah + Marks winter wedding at Trinity Buoy Wharf.
Brides who have an additional “party” wedding dress and bespoke denim bridal jacket to keep off the colder weather are definitely my kinda Bride. So I was delighted to see Hannah’s dress choices when I arrived to capture bridal prep.

Trinity Buoy Wharf wedding photography is always different. Hannah + Mark opted for their wedding ceremony in the atmospheric Electricians Shop which is perfect for a winter weddings with its atmospheric lighting and cosy atmosphere. They then moved over to the fantastic Chain store overlooking the Thames where they partied hard accompanied by the amazing Function Band who’s energy and talent are what every wedding needs!!! You should check them out.
The iconic lighthouse at Trinity Buoy Wharf is a modern wedding photographers dream. The View, the light are perfect for an alternative wedding portrait
