Us Wedding photographers basically get to spend our Summers attending amazing parties….it’s brilliant and yet people still ask if I get bored shooting weddings??? So to those “people” feast your eyes on the wedding photography of Alistair + Thanh.
Everybody knows I love a good London Wedding in an industrial and alternative setting. And everybody knows how much I love Trinity Buoy Wharf. It must be one of my most photographed venues but I could never get bored of shooting in such amazing surroundings and at such a cool spot right on the Thames. Its one of the best party venues I know and the endless options to get creative make it one of my all time favourites.
THE WEDDING DAY
We started in nearby Bethnal Green at the cool Townhall Hotel and hot footed in Thanhs quirky wedding car out East for the ceremony and party at Trinity Buoy Wharf. After the wedding ceremony bubbles replaced confetti and the awesome Oyster Boy shucked under the blue skies whilst everybody enjoyed the spectacular views. Amazing food and drink with a nod to Thanhs Vietnamese heritage, emotional speeches and one hell of a party band to keep everybody dancing into the night. PERFECT!
Big shout out to Alistair and Thanh for being totally trusting of my style and approach, the always brilliant staff at Trinity Buoy Wharf and all the party hard guests for just being themselves in front of camera! I just hope I managed to capture all the love and energy!!!
Here are fifty-ish of my favourite photos from their amazing wedding day!
