Maria + Smithy
Alternative Wedding Photography // London // The Asylum Chapel // Brixton East
Sometimes you hit it off with a wedding in a big BIG way as a photographer. The choice of venues, the emotion and happiness of the day and most importantly the couple themselves just grab you by the heart and shake you all up. Make you feel all fuzzy and lucky that hanging out at weddings is an actual job.
I can’t thank Maria and Smithy enough. Two of the most genuine and trusting couples I have EVER worked with…and I have worked with some good ‘uns.
The best photography is a collaboration between photographer and subject. I would like to think that the below set of images best sums me up as a wedding photographer so I hope you enjoy….
I’m waffling
Here’s some pictures. A few of which were taken by my ever awesome wing woman Michelle Wood…she got the skills. Check her out www.michellewoodphotographer.com
M+S you guys NAILED this wedding thing. Such an amazing day, I just hope I did it justice….Here are my favourites:
If you know anybody else planning an alternative london wedding please pass on my details….especially if it involves The Asylum or Brixton East….because they are both AWESOME!
Shout out to some amazing suppliers: Lorna at The Vintage Sisters for always saving me a lovely bit of cake at The Asylum. Wedding Taxis.co.uk who supply a right nice white cab/cabby humour and the Guy’s at the Mighty Booth for allowing me to shoot the chaos of the queue for their awesome photobooths.
