A bit about me...

I’m told I look like Karl Pilkington wearing Moby’s spectacles and I live with my little dog Rufus and my beautiful wife Carla in a little house called shrub cottage. I class myself as one of the ‘new breed’ of wedding photographers who aim to bring our clients a younger, fresher and completely cheese free approach to what we do! I love using my camera to capture almost anything and anyone.... but when not hiding behind the lens I listen to music...lots and lots of music

People ask what style of photography I shoot and although it could be classified as candid, contemporary or reportage style wedding photography... ultimately I always let the wedding decide. And after shooting so many ‘big days’ throughout the UK I have discovered that every wedding day is unique and my approach must vary to take into account the people, personalities and surroundings in front of my lens...I basically aim to capture every wedding ‘as it happens’ (the little details, the big characters, the tears, the laughter, the sharp suits, the sparkly shoes, the silly dancing etc etc)

Although based in Buckinghamshire, I regularly shoot weddings in London, Northamptonshire, Warwickshire, Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Kent and Surrey and I am available for weddings throughout the whole UK and Europe upon request.

What first got me behind the camera? Well a complete phobia of posing in front of it. And it is this aversion towards forced smiles and poses that has developed the approach I bring to photography today.
